Lunch Anyone?

This has been a week for firsts.  Emma has taken her first steps, and Cate has had her first lunch at school.  It's a bit of a rite of passage to be invited to stay for lunch.  You become one of the "big kids" and everyone makes a big deal over the new kid.  For Cate, this included silent cheers for Cate and the chance to sit and be helped by one of her favorite big kids in the class.   If you know Cate, this look on Cate's face is the "I am cool" look.

Hello February!

This picture of Emma sums it up these days - trying new things, new places, and still working on walking.  She can walk about four or five steps before falling over.  In the meantime, she is so fascinated with walking that sleep is second fiddle.  Let's hope that changes soon.
