Happy Halloween

Hope your day is full of tricks and treats!

Warm and cozy little giraffe!

Away on her broom!

Gathering with some friends for a party!

Mine!

Just a plug of encouragement for all those efforts we, as caregivers, go through daily (hourly) to encourage sharing.    Not surprisingly, genetics play a role, but, the good news, is "positive reinforcement can help cultivate generous behaviors."

Ride that Horsey . . .

Cate and Emma riding . . .

In the second video, you also catch Cate's feminine tendencies shining through as she describes what she and Emma are wearing.  Almost every encounter these days, is followed with a description of what they are wearing.  Her teacher also shared how Cate's interest in flowers extends to the classroom.  Every morning the older kids place a small vase with a bud or two on each table, some having more buds than others.  Cate apparently scopes out the tables and tries to choose one with more buds.

Emma at the park with one of her little friends . . .

Emma's sheer excitement and pride as she pulls up to the train table to cruise.

Below I am trying to capture Emma's new lower chompers, but she is queen of hiding them for the camera.  You might catch a glimpse in one, if not enjoy her smile.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

The fairy godmother never arrived to work her magic and turn this pumpkin into a proper carriage with horses, but Cate didn't mind.

Go horsey, go!

And We March On!

Nothing too significant this week, more one of those where you just keep marching, living, and holding onto the good times.  I did catch a few pics of Cate heading to school this week . . .

Above is Cate going walking in with Ms. Aylouh, one of the classroom helpers.  She is half backpack, half person.  I learned early on that the backpack is a MUST!

Here's Cate waiting to go in.  Can you believe that we were actually a few minutes early?!!

A few kisses to keep with me . . .

The nice fall weather this week lent itself well for numerous trips to the playground.

Emma is not sure whether this is a good idea . . .

Ok, this is fun

Some things don't change . . . purple baby remains a constant . . .
